WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING ?

Cloud computing refers to the on-demand access to computer network resources, mostly storage and processing power, without a full active involvement by the user in the decision-making process. The term is usually used to describe on-premises data centers accessed via a network from a remote location, often through the Internet, to provide data center services to many users simultaneously.

Cloud computing is simply a method of managing and computing on a server that is remote from the client. It’s similar to a shared hosting platform where clients can access files and applications on their own computer, and they don’t have to go through the server, or at least not on the first instance. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), application as a Service (SaaS), and platform as a Service (PaaS) are three of the main cloud computing models. In this article we’ll discuss the differences in each of these models to create the most appropriate cloud solutions for your business.

There are three types of cloud computing. Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is one of the most common forms of cloud computing and is a hybrid between on-premises and cloud services, where SaaS providers typically offer both. A typical SaaS provider offers a set of software applications to their customers for download, installation and ongoing use. For example, a typical SaaS program would include email, file sharing, collaboration tools like JIRA, web hosting, accounting and more.

Another form of cloud computing that is growing rapidly in popularity is application as a service (SaaS). An AAAS provider offers web-based services or software as a service (SaaS), which means that the software is provided by third party companies and not directly offered by an individual company. These are typically more affordable and easier to use, since the web based application and service are delivered via the internet from the server of the company. These are typically offered by different companies to customers who may be interested in using the particular service but have yet to find a suitable provider. This type of cloud computing can be useful in situations where a business needs a high level of access and interactivity but not enough hardware or space to house and maintain a traditional dedicated IT infrastructure.

The third type of cloud computing is platform as a Service: This is an attractive choice for smaller businesses. The main benefit here is that you don’t have to be an IT professional to host the app. The downside is that you may need a hosting account that is already configured with the correct features. Another disadvantage is that you’ll likely have to pay for it.

Hosted virtualization, which involves the use of virtual servers in which applications are hosted rather than large-scale data storage and hosting. This provides businesses with an easy and inexpensive access to cloud services, while maintaining a high degree of control over the services and applications.

If you want to use a cloud service for your business, then you’ll have to decide between either a public or a private cloud – that is, you need to decide if you need a dedicated infrastructure, an On-Premise cloud or an AAAS cloud. Cloud computing in general will allow you to access the services of an external provider of these types, while maintaining complete control over the software and applications that are accessed.

Some cloud computing service providers to offer services by leasing space, and some rent hardware and bandwidth. While this may allow you to store a small amount of data in a hosted virtual environment, it can mean that you’re not entirely running your own hardware. If you use a cloud computing service to store large amounts of data or run large-scale web services, then you may want to purchase or lease your own hardware and space in order to meet these demands.

However, if you don’t have the budget to buy your own hardware, there are several other ways to make use of a cloud computing service. You can use a service provider to host and distribute content on your behalf. This allows you to run the majority of the applications and services for your company. For example, some services allow you to post articles, blogs, press releases, articles on the website of your choice and do a variety of other things that require large amounts of web traffic.

Alternatively, you can also use the cloud to store and manage the documents and online services of your business. This is called Software-as-a-Service, or SaaS. It’s important to think through all the decisions of your business carefully when deciding on the right cloud computing service for your business needs.

What are the disadvantages of the Cloud computing?

There are some disadvantages of this cloud model as well. One of the biggest problems is that you need to have some kind of software and infrastructure in place that can support the apps you’re using. If you want to add more apps, it becomes even harder to do so.

Another disadvantage of the SaaS model is that the app isn’t automatically deployed by your company. Rather you have to deploy the apps yourself and provide continuous support for them.

As you can see, there are pros and cons to every type of cloud model. While every company will have their own unique needs, you should consider what your company does best and what you need from the technology.

By having a look at your own requirements, you’ll be able to determine which model will work for you. From there you can decide which model is best for your business.

Cloud computing models can also be implemented on any type of operating system. You can use Linux, Windows or Mac for example. The main difference is that the Linux model tends to be easier to use and Linux has better security features. Windows will offer better control and the Mac is easier to deploy.

The main reason why Linux has become so popular is because of Microsoft’s partnership with Red Hat, which has a good reputation in the open source community. This relationship has helped them to gain much popularity amongst open-source developers.

Of course there are also many cloud computing companies that offer different platforms. You can choose among Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, IBM, Rackspace, and Google, among others.
